I'm planning a slow-read of the Hobbit and the Lord of the Rings this spring and I'm so excited to read each book and watch the movies after. I've been leaning hard into cozy fiction to help me regulate.

Ohhh, I'm excited for you! That sounds like such a fun spring activity! I feel like the more I dive into the Lord of the Rings (such as books, behind the scene movie stuff) that each re-watch of the movies adds something new each time. I really love cozy fiction as a self soothing activity too.

The Lord Of The Rings is one of my special interests too! Recently, I had to stop myself from buying the most beautiful skirt that had Rivendell on it. I am, unfortunately, not a skirt person and it was pretty expensive for me to just sit and stare at it. 😂

You are very right about taking time to support and be kind to yourself when you aren't feeling okay or are struggling. I don't always remember this but I do try.

Thank you for sharing, Tiffany. 🖤

Ohhh yeah!! I'm always so excited to "meet" someone who also has The Lord of the Rings as a special interest :) I have to say that Rivendell skirt sounds AMAZING and I immediately googled "Rivendell skirt." I wonder if they have like Rivendell shirts that you could wear? I admit that I've spent a lot of time on Etsy looking at Lord of the Rings related clothes and decorations.

You're very welcome and thank you for your kind words! It can sometimes be hard to remember these things but they are so important I think.

This is the one I found - https://blackmilkclothing.com/products/rivendell-maxi-skirt Just in case you are a skirt person! They do also have a shirt but it doesn't have sleeves which put me off but that's just my personal preference.

Yes, I do that too! My D&D dice mat has the Tree of Gondor on it so I can be a nerd twice over 😂

Ohh, thank you for sharing that link! Unfortunately, polyester is a sensory ick for me-otherwise I would be so tempted! On Etsy they have some hobbit style dresses which I am like "Ohhhhh!"

I haven't decorated my house yet and I have been looking at Lord of the Ring's artwork-there's some really beautiful stuff out there! Also as a cat lover + LotR fan-there's a sweatshirt with a cat version of the fellowship which I find so fun! Hehe, I love the "be a nerd twice over."

Oh, that's a shame!

That sweatshirt sounds amazing! I have a D&D + Cats t-shirt so that sweatshirt sounds right up my street. I am feeling inspired to, once Christmas is over, to go on a Lord of the Rings/Etsy hunt!
